The program tagged "Host FamilyScheme" held in partnership with Kaleidoscope Travel Agency based in the United States will see American Families come down to Nigeria beginning in the summer to share ideas on various cultural background as well as experience first hand life in the most populous country in Africa.
Project Tourism therefore calls for enlistment of families to take part in the scheme. Interested families must be based in the Delta, Lagos and Abuja areas of the country, as these are the areas the scheme is estimated to cover. The project is set to begin in July 2020
Basic requirements for the program include
Family Type: Preferably family with children/adolescents with the presence of a female adult (Mum or other family members must be present within the home
The scheme is best for families who are delighted in making international connections and share Nigerian Culture and involve students in family life and activities.
Families will be paid to offset living, transport and feeding expenses. However, families who are delighted to do this for reasons beyond money are also welcome. Those who do well as host families will be included in future trips for years to come
other requirements include A car to transport students, A private bedrom available for one or more of students (Shared bathrooms are okay).
