The old woman who was knocked down by a hit-and-run vehicle along New Ogorode road by Lexi junction, penultimate week, has gotten a reprieve from the Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Hon.(Chief) Eugene Inoaghan.

Hon.(Chief) Inoaghan, who was accompanied by the Divisional Police Officer, Sapele Police Station, Mr Akande Abubakar Aliyu, met the old woman at the female ward where she was receiving treatment.

He also thanked the Chairman for his cash donation to offset her medical bills, and gave him an update of her health status and the recommended tests and scan that will enable him perfect her treatment in the coming weeks.

Also with the Chairman during the visit are: Mr Blessing Abule, Secretary Sapele LGA, Rt. Hon. Felix Ayemidejor, immediate past Leader, Sapele Legislatives Arm and presently, Special Assistant to the Chairman, Hon. Tajeru Moses, Supervisory Councilor for Health, Mr Ossy Omolua, Special Assistant on Security, amongst others.
