Flood: Osanebi receives Aballa Monarch, vow to double effort to cushion disaster effect.
Member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, this morning in his residence in Asaba, said he’s doubling effort in his intervention to his constituents that had been effected in the ravaging flood this year, in order to succor and give palliative relieves .
Osanebi gave this hint this morning, when he received the traditional ruler of Aballa Kingdom, HRM, Obi Fredrick Chukwuloe Egbukonye II and his entourage.
Osanebi who noted that flood is a natural disaster and that no man can stop, or direct it course, promised to double his effort to ensure that communities that were affected in the flood, receives prompt attention coupled with government materials .
“ I commend your wisdom and charisma, congratulating you on your giant strives and achievements, especially as it concerns the leadership of your kingdom” Osanebi said.
The lawmaker further promised to reach out to the relevant stakeholders in the abandoned Aballa road project, especially the contractor and the government agency handling the project, in order to facilitate speedy completion of the project.
Earlier the traditional ruler had said he was at the Deputy Speaker’s residence to synchronize with him and to draw his attention to the urgent needs in his kingdom.
The immediate past Deputy Speaker thanked the king for coming and prayed God to grant the monarch the wisdom to pilot the affairs of his kingdom in order to consolidate on peace and attract more development to the area.
Also in the entourage of the king was the Odua of Abala Kingdom, Chief Abel Nwanze, who doubles as the president General of the town and also prominently was the youth president of the clan, Amb. Mike Dialor.
