The Honourable Commissioner for Works, Delta State, Chief James Augoye has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the Supreme court judgement that upheld the re-election of His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as the Governor of Delta State.
The Honourable Commissioner described the judgement as a reflection of the wishes of Deltans who truly voted for PDP and His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa during the last election.
In a short interview granted today immediately after the Supreme Court judgement, the Honourable Commissioner stated "It was a total waste of time for anybody to challenge the victory of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa because Deltans across the 3 Senatorial district voted for him during the last elections dus to his track records of performance as evident in infrastructural upgrade across the state as well as other human capital development" What happened today at the Supreme court is a clear demonstration that the people's choice must away prevail at all times.
"May I at this point call on all Deltans across the divide to continue supporting our Governor Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to build The Stronger Delta that we all can be proud to have, he added"
