Specifically, he commended the leadership of High Chief Idu Amadhe for piloting the affairs of Isoko nation, just as he said that Amadhe is a man of substance who stands by his word.
He also commended the students of the polytechnic, especially the females for their good disposition and well organised manner during the event. He specifically commended them for their good dressing pattern that is quite different from other girls in other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The governor told the students to be serious with their studies as certificates are very essential to their success in life.
The governor used the opportunity to announce that the state government is giving more emphasis to technical education, saying 25 technical colleges will be sited in all the 25 local government areas in the state.
He said nine have been awarded already and are ongoing while 10 will be awarded before the end of the administration. Seven are already in existence in the state.
The event was aimed at preparing the polytechnic students for a world outside the campus community. Specifically, it was aimed at making them know that skills could take them to where certificates cannot take them.
