The senior special assistant to the Governor on Peace building and conflict resolution, Olorogun Gondons Okomitie on Friday gave out cash gift to the executives Members of the People's Democratic Party at Ughelli South Local Government Area and at the Ward levels including  indigenes of his immediate community Ekakpamre

Olorogun Okomitie while presenting the cash gift of over two million naira to the ward and LGA executives tasked them to adhere strictly to guidelines on COVID-19 in order to stay alive

Assistant to the Governor on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, Olorogun Okomitie told them that the direct cash palliative was to cushion the effect of the lockdown due to deadly Corona Virus also known as COVID-19

The senior special assistant to the Governor on Conflict Resoluction who gave an insight into his pallatives across the states particularly in Ughell South stated that as party executive after attending to others there was need to also give them some socours as the lockdown is bitting hard on every Deltans irrespective of status.

Olorogun Gondons  Okomitie who commended the State Governor, Dr ifeanyi Okowa for his proactive step in the fight against COVID-19 and his show of love for Deltans hinting that is palliative was to compliment the state Governors effort in ensuring that the vulnerable Deltans are adequately taken care during this difficult time of sit at home

While  appealing to Deltans  to see reason's with the Governor's decision Olorogun Okomitie stated it was the best action to curb the spread of the Corona Virus in the state.

Senior Special Assistance to the Governor on Conflict Resolution described the food bank initiative by the Governor as a noble initiative and appealed to the PDP executives both at the LGA and Ward level to help sensitize the people at the grassroot level on the need to remain at home.

 Also speaking, Chief Vincent Oduaran who is also the SSA to the Governor on political describe Olorogun Okomitie as a philanthropist who has touched the lives of many particularly in Ughelli south and thank him for the cash gift to the PDP executives and his Ekakpamre Community urging other  Deltans to do likewise

Some who could not hide their joy praised chief Gordons Okomitie for the show of love to them revealing that this was the first time they are benefiting from such gesture.

They promised to reciprocate the kind heart of Olorogun Okomitie in due course.

The senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Peace Building was also at Ekrokpe Community in Ughelli South to supervise the handing over of the food items  from the State Food Bank to Ekakpamre ward.

While commending the state Governor for providing food for the vulnerables in the state equally commended the committee set up by the State Governor for displaying transparency
in the distribution of the item appealing to Deltans to remain calm as the Governor means well for them.
