Member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi has congratulated Muslim friends and faithfuls for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, calling for more cooperation and prayers for Delta State.
Osanebi who noted that despite the ravaging coronavirus pandemic, Muslims around the world, were steadfast and committed in their fast, thanking them for their understanding and cooperation, especially in managing the the situations occasioned by COVID-19.
“ despite the situations occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic and regulations of government, our Muslim brothers were cooperative and had a smooth fasting and prayer session”.
Osanebi felicitated with Muslims, commending them for their dedication, support and understanding in seeing that the present coronavirus pandemic is controlled.
The immediate past deputy speaker further called on Muslim faithfuls to take advantage of their experience in the past weeks of fasting to pray more for the states and government of Nigeria, adding that all hands must be on desk to fully combat the deadly coronavirus.
Osanebi noted with thanks to Almighty God, and commended governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other leaders in delta state for their concerted efforts in checking the spate of the coronavirus pandemic, especially measures and policies put in place to seeing that normalcy is restored.
Osanebi sought for the continued support and cooperation of the Muslim community of Ndokwa East and delta state at large and all residents of the state in adhering to the COVID-19 protocols such as wearing of face masks, observing physical distancing, regular washing of hands and eating of immune-boosting foods and others, as directed by the delta state government.
