Hospitality and Business Communication Correlation by Enamerherhe Justice

Hospitality is beyond welcoming visitors and giving them a place in your home, its a means of exposure if properly utilise.
Abraham in the bible accommodated Angels, he didn't just give them a place to rest, he fed them and had a conversation with them.

Today I want you to learn how to communicate. The conversation most people have with a guest they barely know is a series of questions demanding specific answers like:
What would you take for dinner?
Hope you're comfortable?
Is there anything I can do for you?
And finally they conclude with a closing statement which indirectly says I HAVE TO GO NOW, BYE.

Learn to properly utilise the opportunity you have from speaking to a stranger especially when they are not in a haste to leave.

Every person you meet gives you the opportunity to get another perspective on  something, it could be social, political, economical, medical, traditional, institutional and much more depending on their interest plus its a great way of building good communication skills.

You can learn and share different cultures with effective communication without experiencing them.

We meet people everyday without knowing their names, and some people do not even know the nativity of someone they call a friend.

Now, the bible  records that Abraham was blessed in cattle's, sheep's and servants. None of these things fell from heaven, it was his earthly transactions and relationship with God that made him wealthy.

Hospitality and business correlation is interesting and you get to know a good marketer by the way they introduce their products, some marketers start the conversation with what they want you to do for them, how it will benefit you.

Sometimes it works for them but the best marketers are those who first create the possibility of a relationship, they are the ones who get more referral and grow in network.

Sometimes we believe our business life is different from our personal life, the fact remains that we are who we are and we have one life and its left to us to develop holistically or let the underdeveloped portion rob us of unseen opportunities.
