Empowerment master and immediate past Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi was today moved with passion and paid the medical bills of Master Goodluck Sunday and was discharged from the federal medical centre ( FMC), Asaba, where he has been stranded after treatments for months now.
Sunday who was done with treatment months ago was seemly stocked in the hospital facility, due to lack of funds to clear the accumulated medical bills.
Sunday Goodluck, from Akwa-Ibom State, 13yrs, a JSS 1 pupil, was January diagnosed of empyema thoracis and a successful heart surgery was carried on him.
Osanebi’s attention was drawn to the ugly situation today by a concerned constituent, who lamented that the father of Goodluck has since abandoned him and his two brothers with his mother who now resort to selling Pumpkin leaves to care for the family.
The hospital staff, neighbors and mother of Goodluck was full of thanks today as they were discharged from the hospital. To the glory of God, the promising lad has fully recovered and back to his feet.
