The Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Mr. Chiedu Ebie today declared open a stakeholders forum on implementation and sustenability of Sustainable Development Goals' (SDG) Conditional Grant Scheme Projects at the Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba.
The SSG said since the commencement of the Scheme in 2008, the State Government has been an active collaborator with the Presidency in making critical interventions in several sectors such as Health, Education, Environment, Water Resources Development, Micro-Credit, Social Investment Scheme and Electrical supply.
Mr Ebie said Delta State government has been so passionate about the scheme that even when the Federal Government was unable to provide it's counterpart funding for the 2017 intervention, the State Government made its own contributions available in order to sustain the tempo of development envisioned by the scheme.
He said the government is happy with the partnership and for the progress that has been made in the Communities through it.
