The SSA on Health Monitoring Dr. Michael Nwoko and the SSA on Student Affairs to Delta  State Governor Comr. Ehiwario Jerry were also on ground during the visitation/inspection of the project at the Stars University.

The governor's aide Jerry Ehiwario said “The project is massive, and it’s something of joy to understand that the first sports university in Sub-Saharan Africa is located in our dear state, It would help us tap and develop the talents that abound in not just delta state but Africa as a whole, am honoured to be here and join the course of history in the making”
