Elder PETER IDION MARKS OKOWA'S STRONGER DELTA VISION IN IKA SOUTH

AGBOR.....The flag of the Stronger Delta mantra of His Excellency, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa the Governor of Delta State was today, Sunday 29 December 2019, hoisted to high heavens in Ika South LGA as Elder Peter Idion proved to the people that he is truly the Governor's man friday in Ika South.

In an extraordinary show which was a carefully planned get-together and which was used by the political tactician to mark the end of year 2019 in his residence ended up attracting the presence of many political heavyweights and chieftains of the People's Democratic Party in the Ika Federal Constituency, aides of the Governor, captains of industries, youths, women and members of the Arewa, Ohaneze and Yoruba ethnic nationaliities in Ikaland in their very large numbers.

 The Chairman of the Party in the local government area, who also doubles as the Chairman of Delta State Arts Council, Hon Collins Ewere Bello was on ground to give a befitting honour  to the occasion.

The Honourable member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ika Federal Constituency, Rt Hon (Barr) Victor Nwokolo was ably represented by Gen Emeke Asiwe, who himself is the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Development.

Other dignitaries and political bigwigs present includes Hon and Mrs Ralph Azeh (PDP State Financial Secretary), Mrs Bridget Orubor (PDP woman leader in Ika South LGA), Hon Sunny Ogwu (Chairman SUBEB), Mr Jude Onya (Member, Waste Management Board), Mr Emeke Egwuanimku (SSA on Political Matters), Hon (Barr) Martins Okonta PhD (Hon Commissioner for Water Resources was ably represented), Mr Ralph Obi Okoh, Mr Ndudi Shetima Agholor, Mrs Cecilia Ogbeonyeri (SSA to the Governor on Women Mobilisation), Deacon Andrew Ashien, Miss Ann Morka (SA to the Governor on Youth Mobilisation), Mr Anthony Ajai, Dr Donald Peterson, Hon Andrew Agwaze and very many others too numerous to mention for the sake of space.

In their speech which was made respectively, Hon Collins Bello admonished the people to continue to believe in PDP.

Hon Victor Nwokolo appealed to the people to continue to believe in the Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthúr Okowa-led State administration as the Governor is not prepared to fail his people.

 Hon Sunny Ogwu thanked all for coming and cautioned all to remain steadfast with the present party executive in all the Wards and in the local government area as ably led by Hon Collins Bello.

The presence of the women and Female Youths well mobilised by the duo of Mrs Cecilia Ogbeonyeri and Miss Ann Morka provided an ample opportunity for them to display beautiful dancing steps to the non stop supply of music to the admiration of the dignitaries that were present.

On his own, Elder Peter Idion, who is the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters and also the sole host of the event provided substantially enabling environment for the huge success of the meeting. There was infact more than enough to eat and drink as guests were very sumptuously fed to satisfaction.
