Fight Human Trafficking, Genevieve Mordi Tells Deltans
Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor and Memebr of the Delta State Taskforce on Human Trafficking Dr Genevieve Genney Mordi has urged Deltans to fight against Human Trafficking.
Genevieve Mordi who made this known at Asaba during the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons Skills Acquisition training and provision of starter packs on barbing and hair dressing for returnees described human trafficking as inhuman.
"Human Trafficking is a disease that has killed thousands of persons across Nigeria and as people of Delta State, we must rise up and fight against this disease called human trafficking.
Irrespective of our religious beliefs, we should not support human Trafficking, it is inhuman .
There is no gain in trafficking, nobody will fight this disease for us except you and I.
We need to report any case of suspected human trafficking to the appropriate authorities" she said .
