Chairman, Friday Osanebi Foundation and member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly. Rt. Hon Friday Ossai Osanebi, in order to consolidate on government’s effort, will by weekend, properly orient constituents in their various clans on COVID-19 and same time share prevention and control materials to the people.
In a statement this morning, Osanebi noted that the excellent management of the situation here in Delta State by the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and the various state agencies must be commended and need to be consolidated for perfect result .
He also noted that the people need to be adequately educated and their minds empowered over Coronavirus and to spread fear and false information
Osanebi added that he has already made demands for large quantities of sanitizers and face masks for the people and orientation kits for easy understanding.
“ while we trust God for the end of this experience, we have to take steps also in protecting and educating our people, in order to allay fear and enhance prevention and control”, Osanebi said .
According to the schedule, town criers will be engaged in different towns and villages in Ndokwa East to educate the people about coronavirus and preventive measures, coupled with facilities and directives already put in place by Government to forestall any emergency.
This will be done in the languages they understand and in same vein, distribute sanitizers and packs of face mask from house to house.
